Every year communities around Perthshire rise to the challenge and enter many different levels of local, national and international competition.

These range from the local competition, Take a Pride in Perthshire, to the most prestigious Britain in Bloom awards and even international events such as Entente Florale and Communities in Bloom. Many towns and villages throughout Perthshire and Kinross-shire have had successes,with Comrie in Colour and Piltochry in Bloom repeatedly winning their category in Britain in Bloom and Beautiful Scotland in Bloom competitions. Newer groups such as those representing Kinnesswood, Scotlandwell and Muthill have enjoyed excellent judging assessments and rewards in the national competitions. Take a Pride in Perthshire has an immense sense of pride in the local area and hopes that the experiences of those committees will inspire others to join in too.
