The Breadalbane Stag stands proudly at the foot of the Birks and is a fine addition to the town, thanks to the efforts of Move 2 Improve, the local Take a Pride in Perthshire Group (TPPA) in Aberfeldy.

TPPA awarded £500 to Aberfeldy Move2Improve for this innovative project to create an art work for the town and agreed the Project Development Adviser’s time to work with the group to facilitate compliance with planning conditions.

The project attracted funding from the the local Rotary Group and was supported by local suppliers including Aberfeldy Groundworks and the Gatehouse Nursery.  In fact fundraising was so successful that Move2Improve was able to return the £500 award to Take a Pride in Perthshire who in turn were able to offer the funding to another group to allow an additional project to proceed.
