Welcome to Take a Pride in Perth and Kinross
The 'Take a Pride in Perth and Kinross' campaign, which is run by Perth & Kinross Council, brings together communities in the Perth and Kinross area, and unites them behind a single, common purpose: to make our towns, villages, hamlets and city more attractive places to live, work and visit.
We are the Take A Pride in Perth & Kinross Association, a registered Scottish charity, and we provide support and advice to the voluntary 'in bloom' groups who deliver the Council's campaign in more than 50 communities the P&K area.
Our member groups work in local communities, large and small, running 'in bloom' campaigns, tackling environmental problems like litter, graffiti and dog fouling and delivering projects that enhance their natural, cultural and historic environment. This spectacular effort is sustained by hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours of voluntary effort. Come rain or shine, our members give up their time to enjoy the company of neighbours and friends working together to make a difference to their local area.
A wonderful by-product is that many of our communities have achieved outstanding success in nationaland international Award schemes including Beautiful Scotland and the RHS Britain in Bloom. You can find out here in our website how much our groups are doing to improve their communities - and how you can get involved too.
