Take a Pride in Perth & Kinross

Acharn

Acharn is a pretty hamlet situated amidst dramatic scenery on the south shore of Loch Tay. The houses were built in the early 19th century for workers from the surrounding estates. The Falls of Acarn are a popular tourist attraction on the nearby burn. Acharn is a short distance from the Scottish Crannog Centre on the south of Loch Tay Road, just outside the village of Kenmore.

A small group of volunteers from the Acharn in Bloom groups keep the hamlet looking lovely.
