Take a Pride in Perth & Kinross

Spittalfield

Spittalfield was built in the 18th century as a planned weaving village with traditional Scottish cottages surrounding a village green. It lies about 7 km east south east of Dunkeld

In 1994 four members of Spittalfield Village Hall Committee decided to start Spittalfield in Bloom and the village has bloomed ever since!

Many volunteers help water tubs near to them so the work is evenly shared out. The tubs are planted out every spring by the local Cub Group and when it is time for the competition the village as a whole takes part with everyone out doing their own little bit.
